Ok, so this definitely isn't the most flattering photo of me but it's actually one of my favorites. It's just too representative of my personality. Just call me ALWAYS YELLING.

Madewell Backpack (sold out) similar here and here

This is the first week that's really felt like spring in my area, so I decided to dress for the season and pull out a new tunic I got from Free People (also available in pink) and my trusty white jeans. I really love this pair - I've had them for a few years and they're so soft and stretchy that they feel like leggings, but they're sturdy enough to last which is an extremely important concern of mine when it comes to buying distressed denim.

My favorite part of spring weather is the little snap to the air that comes along with the changing seasons. I threw on an old metallic cardigan to ward off the chill and topped everything off with a leather backpack (you'll be seeing a lot of this one - it's one of my favorites to travel with) and my Isabel Marant lace-up flats. I got the Leo flats last spring and I have yet to fall out of love with them. It was so hard to put them away for the winter, but I didn't want to ruin them in the snow! This season there are even more colors available and I am itching to have them all. When it comes to jeans and shoes, I love to splurge because I know they're such staples in every girl's wardrobe.

I know they're fairly pricey and not everyone can or will spend so much on something as trendy as white jeans or lace-up flats, so I've linked a few more affordable and plus-sized options below. Feel free to email or comment if you ever want alternatives for anything you see on the blog and let me know what you love to splurge on!
